So apparently my broadband package is Fibre 2, when I joined BT I selected Fibre 1 as it was the only one available at my older address but on my BT products it does say I'm on Fibre 2. I've since moved and BT DSL checker is saying my line can attain 72-55 Download and 20-18 Upload, more interested in the upload upgrade than the download. But I've had no luck being able to upgrade and get the higher speeds.
Hey Niall!
I also had a similar problem once, my SNR margins were just randomly set too high and wouldnt ever changed until BT/Openreach reset it manually so you have to have that done maybe!
Have seen other people talk about SNR margins etc on this and post their technical log from the router here are mine, I have moved address and the older line was unstable and I had issues with it in the past maybe those margins are still in place because of that?
Hi @Niall119,
Thank you for posting. It does look like your connection has been capped at 55/10. If you send me your details, I'll be able to get this corrected.
I have sent you a private message with instructions on how to contact the team. You can access your messages via the envelope icon at the top right of the screen, or click on this link, Private messages
Thanks,
Paddy
Nothing to do with SNR, you are on a fibre1 package and capped due to that.

Hi @Niall119,
What @licquorice is saying going by your router stats your connection is capped at fibre 1, which has a profile of 55/10.
Thanks,
Paddy
