Home Hub 5 and USB Hard Drive

Hi all, I decided to try out my USB drive as a network drive today. When I plug it in to the USB port on the Home Hub 5 it appears as expected in the Hub manager. I can see it under devices, I can rename it, I can Safely Disconnect it etc.

 

However, it does not appear in Explorer under Network. I can navigate to it directly (I think) by going to \\192.168.1.254 in Run but the folder that opens is empty.

 

I have reattached it to my laptop and it works as expected.

 

Any ideas on how I can access the drive's contents on the network?

Have you tried using the forum search facility and look for hh5 and USB?
