Only epoxy glue over the hole.
While it is the only way to disable the factory reset button and it's up to you if you do epoxy glue over the reset button but keep in mind that a factory reset is often the best way to sort out problems on the hub and if you do that you will not be able to do that in the future should you need to.
@gg30340 I thought you can Factory Reset through the Hub Manager as well .
As far as I am aware you can only restart the hub from there however what if you can not get into the management pages.
EDIT: I stand corrected. You can factory reset from the advance settings however this would obviously not be possible if you can not get into the hubs management pages.
@gg30340 Why won’t you be able to get to the Management Pages?
If the Reset button is sealed you should still be able to log into the Hub Management.
What would you do if the admin password was changed by someone or you forgot what it was ?
What would you do if there was some sort of corruption with the hubs software which would not allow you to access the hubs management pages?
@gg30340 Good points and hopefully the OP will bear this in mind👍
Thank you but I don’t really want to seal it indefinitely.
Hi @Sarah14 Lock the router away in a well ventilated cupboard?
