I think my BT YouView box has died.
I noticed the through signal to the TV set kept disappearing and thought I had an antenna connector fault but realised it was the YouView box.
The BT and Waking Up message appears then goes blank. There is an intermittent noise. I thought it was a buzzer but I am thinking it is the hard disc hunting.
I tried the reset I got the first start to select Y for Maintenance Mode but just stayed on Waking Up and there is the same noide.
Never gets beyond that.
I presume it will need replacing but wonder what is the procedure to do so?

What is the position on faults with the YouView box? Do they replace it or do you have to buy a replacement?
If you have a current BT TV contract then if the supplied box is faulty and requires replacement then it should be replaced.

I think @Anonymous is right and the BTTV STB has gone faulty.
If you are still in contract from BTTV then we would be able to replace the STB free of charge as mentioned by @zulu17.
I've sent you a Private Message with details on how you can get in contact with the mod team.
Just wanted to check what the position was with faulty boxes before reporting this morning.
A replacement is on the way (or at least will be shortly) to me and should have it tomorrow.
