Hello, we currently keep getting calls either saying our landline connection is having problems even though so called “BT” are calling us on it.
We also getting calls saying “your IP Address has been compromised”
Is this a scam that’s going around? Just don’t want anything to be wrong
Hi, welcome to the forums.
The calls are 100% scam, and has been going around for a couple of years. There are many similar reports in these forums.
The scammers use scare tactics to worry people, which is why enough respond to make it worth their while.
Simply hang up and don't give any information to them.

Hi, welcome to the forums.
An ex-D number isn't a secret, it's just not listed in the phone book or online system.
Anyone can dial any number, and as been said - it could be a computer dialling random numbers, or even in sequence.
