Installing BT broadband - CAN YOU DO IT YOURSELF - urgent!

Hi

I’ve just received a phone call (left on answerphone) that our new broadband engineer won’t be coming to install our WiFi on Friday.

we have the box and everything else ready here, got delivers today (Wednesday)

now obviously this is a very stressful situation especially since my partner needs WiFi to be working from home...

is there anyway at all that we can install the WiFi ourselves? That we don’t need a engineer to come out?

thanks

Anna

So just fibre broadband FTTC   Normally you do not need an engineer home visit just connect hub up as you have it and engineer makes connections at the street cabinet.

Not sure if you will get connected when you expected due to the virus situation
