Large home help!

Hi all

looking for some advice on setup for a large, older home with very thick walls. we have recently just got complete wifi but still cant get this to extend round the full home as the main hub is at one end of the house and the dics dont extend far enough from the hub to cover the other en of the house. 

Am I able to pair disc to disc or do these need to be paired to the main hub?

any advice appreciated

Assuming your electrical wiring is up to the task you could just use powerline/homeplugs to extend the wired connection to another room then get a wireless access point connected to that.
