Hi, We have just had a lightning strike and my router has totally died. No lights, nothing. Tried resetting but nothing. Do I need a new router? My landlines is working fine.

Which BT Home hub do you have, as some are more susceptible to damage?
That happened to us and yes a new router was needed.

Hi, I have the Smart Hub 2 which has effectively blown and should get the replacement Smart Hub 2 tomorrow. I will need to link it to my Whole Home Wi-Fi mesh (Dual-band AC2600).
I know I need to connect my new router to a disc via an ethernet cable but can anyone point me in the direction of a step by step guide to setting up the new router with the Whole Home Wi-Fi mesh system?
There should be no difference, as the Whole Home system (white disks) runs independently of the router.
