Re: BT Email changes

Messing around with  the new mail screen  this morning I can see there is an option to revert to "Classic" look if this is what you prefer.

Click Settings (The Icon on the top right)

Click More settings

Then on the left hand side you should see Switch to Classic Mail.

Re: New BT Mail - the old one was bad, but this is worse.

The change in the BTMail webpage has been ongoing for about three months or more. As such all the things you have posted about have already been posted by earlier users and their posts have been answered with either solutions or how to change setting etc.

If you first of all read this thread some of the answers are within it and thereafter if you search through the email section of the forum you will no doubt find the answer to any of the other questions/problems.

This sounds like you have also given up on what was once a half decent system ?

Most annoying thing now is when you try and open an email to read it, it comes up in a new window so all other tabs are hidden from view..

Mike.

I have not given up on BTMail. I have always used an email client since dial up Internet. It is the correct tool for the job. Webmail is only used to allow ISPs to deliver adverts to its customers.

Re: BT Email changes

Right, now found settings.

My email address is near top right of screen. Clicked on that and settings pops up.

So instead of icon, you need guess work to find it. How brilliant is that BT ?

However does not look like any tabs there to revert to classic mail .

Mike.

Re: New BT Mail - the old one was bad, but this is worse.

Thank you. I became somewhat bored having to read some of the rants. BT tell me it's still an on going problem and rather than use IE at the moment I should use Chrome, which seems to work.
