New Broadband Extender 600 not working

I've just added an additional BB Extender 600. It sets up/pairs ok and data light comes on.  It even works fine when connecting to it via an ethernet cable but I cannot locate it/connect to it via WiFi on my MacBook; it does not appear as a wifi option - am I missing something obvious or is it faulty?

There's two different types of that product, the extender (which is not Wi-Fi) and the Home Hotspot (which, as the name implies is Wi-Fi), it sounds like you bought the wrong one.

DOH !!  It's not the money I resent, it's the hours spent trying to get the wifi working 🙂  Thanks for putting me out my misery.
