New FTTP install

FTTP is now available in my area, getting it installed shortly.  Openreach have cabled the street so there is a box/plate outside my driveway.  Do they have to dig a channel to the house or can they access through existing FTTC connection?

Providing there is duct between the Joint Box and the Capping at the front of your house they’ll pull a fibre cable through that.

If the duct is blocked and or your existing Copper Cable is Buried Direct in Ground they’ll have to dig it up and lay some 56 Duct.
