Hi All,
Just checking is this new? My hub just updated itself?
Its saying v0.27.06.04290-BT
Thanks
Sam
It seems like. After seeing your post I checked and mine has updated yesterday as well. I don't really see anything different on the UI. It would be great to have a changelog for these firmware updates.
Agreed. Do the mods have anything on this update?

Good afternoon folks,
Thanks for the comments.
I can confirm that this is the latest firmware for the Smart Hub 2. I don't have much detail to share with you in terms of what this firmware includes. This update mainly brought changes to the backend so you would not have noticed the changes.
There were some minor bug fixes for the GUI and some security updates.
Cheers
Sean
Hi All,
About 8 days ago, my Wifi started having problems on my iPhone and iPad. Same for my wife. I tried certain things, such as disabling 5GHz and only using 2.4GHz, which makes it better, but does not completely fix the slow connection and dropouts I get. It's basically now useless with our Apple products. My PC with wireless works though, as does any wired connection to the Smart Hub..
I then noticed that on the 21st July, my Smart Hub firmware updated to v0.27.06.04290-BT. No coincidence I’m sure.
Whatever BT did in this update, they seem to have badly broken WiFi for Apple products.
Anyone else experiencing this? Anyone from BT on this forum who can help?
Thanks,
Andy.
@andytinacave I second this. Its gone from not working with my smart equipment to them now breaking it so it now doesn't like Apple equipment! one day they will get an update right! Atleast Alexa now works ha!
I have the same issue, my iPad and iPhone are showing connected to the Wi-Fi network but cannot access the internet, if I cycle the Wi-Fi connection on my apple device, it reconnects to the internet again.
What's going on, everything else is working fine, only apple devices are playing up.
should i disable the 5G for now to see if it resolves the issue as a temp fix ?
I am on the firmware as mentioned above.
thanks
Mark
Have you turned off private addressing MAC randomisation on your Apple devices?
I have just tried that ill see how it goes for the next couple of days.
I also upgraded to IOS 15, and to be honest i only just noticed the issue since this upgrade.
Cheers
Mark
