Odd IP address connected to router

Hi.

Not sure if anyone can help, we recently had issues with our smart hub repeatedly dropping.

We had an engineer come out and managed to sort, apparently something up with the local exchange.

The router was reset to it's factory settings so all our devices were cleared etc.

Just went back into the router to setup access control and noticed an odd IP connected (2a00:23c6:3a1:9401:fc83:610b:5c7b:5279)

I didn't notice this prior to the fault and wondered if anyone can tell me what or who it is?

Apologies if this is in the wrong group.

Cheers.

Si

Re: Odd IP address connected to router

Nothing odd about it, its just an IPv6 address allocated to one of your devices.

Re: Odd IP address connected to router

Ok brill thanks. The only thing is, so far the only 3 things we have connected are the ps4 and 2 phones.

This ip is the 4th. Neither me or wife has connected it.

Thanks

Re: Odd IP address connected to router

If you put the MAC address associated with it in this website it will tell you the manufacturer of the device which should help you identify it
