You're still within the cooling off period, which starts from the date the service went live, the cooling off period is 14 days, except for BT Mobile sim only, they have a 30 day cooling off period.
You then have 3 months to claim, 3 months to activate and 12 months to spend the balance, claims can be made Here
Thanks for that. However, on BT website it's stated that once service is activated I can claim and yes I saw info for BT mobile 30 days.

I'm a bit confused now as not mentioned about cooling off period.
