New phone line & broadband for a new build - total joke

I'm having similar problems I was supposed to be connected on 8/11/2018 as of today I am still waiting to be connected..some of my neighbours are connected but not me, BT have not given me satisfactory explanation of why they cannot connect me now I don't think I will get connected till after new year..I am appalled with how I am being treated.

Its Openreach that would be doing the work, and they are very busy this time of the year.

Is it a fibre to the home installation, with an Openreach ONT box already installed, or is just a normal copper pair of wires, with a phone socket at the end?
