I've just started to get this on my BT mail account.  I'm running it via 'mail' on a Mac.  All was well till a couple of weeks ago, and now it's a nightmare to edit nearly every email to get rid of links, email addresses etc till it will send.

I've no idea what's changed - nothing really..... tried sending using iCloud address and it worked, so it's definitely BT.... no idea what I can change.  I don't use a VPN.  

Any ideas anyone......
