Smart Hub 2 and static routes

When will a BT hub provide the ability to add static routes so that I can support multiple subnets in my home network?

My QNAP and Synology NASs provide this functionality as to  many 3rd party hubs\routers.

Come on BT, you describe the Smart Hub 2 as your most intelligent router yet but it still lacks basic functionality.

Re: Smart Hub 2 and static routes

To how many of the millions of BT customers do you think such a facility would be of use? Probably about 0.001%. ISPs don't make fancy routers, they provide basic devices for the masses.

Probably about the same number that use IPv6, a VPN through their router, DECT or DDNS.

Re: Smart Hub 2 and static routes

Hello,

A newbie here.  I know this is an old thread but I landed here after google searching for a way to add a static route on a BT smart hub 2. Were you able to resolve this issue in some other ways? Thank you.
