I saw that but it appeared from other posts that criteria was down speed and up was a bonus

You are probibly correct as ISP's don't bother too much about upload speeds.

that is great service for him but what about all us others that haven't rececieved the promised speed boost all we get is fobbed off

Hi Stuart. I have just run BT wholesale test and the upload has gone up to 17Mbps,download has slowed slightly to 40Mbps,but would expect this until the line settles for the next 10 days. Thanks for all your help.
