What happens during FTTP first Engineer visit?

What happens during the first Engineer visit where they do work “outside of the property” before FTTP installation (before the official booked visit where they meet us) ?

Next door neighbour has FTTP cables underground by their front door, so assume mine would be underground too.

The initial engineer will bring the fibre to a CSP outside the premisis.

Thank you for your help. What does a CSP look like? 

BT have confirmed the fibre to my property would be underground, not overhead, if that helps.

Do you have a broadband package ordered with BT Retail?

The external network would be provided by Openreach.

Yes, I have an open order, the first visit has happened. Do you know what work Openreach would have done? Or do you know where I can find out?
