Whole Home Disc Dropping Out

I have two whole home white discs & both are connected by Ethernet. The one in my bedroom is connected direct to my Virgin router. The one downstairs is connected to a tplink which is connected to my Virgin router. The one downstairs keeps on disconnecting & I have to switch it of & on. The one in my bedroom works perfectly. What do I need to do to stop this happening?
