YouView failing to record

Over the past two weeks my YouView box has failed to record several programs. Tonight it was scheduled to record at 8pm. At 8.25pm it was not recording. When I then turned on the TV, meaning the box came off of standby, it started recording but obviously I missed half the programme. Has anyone else experienced this? Nothing has changed in my setup that I’m aware of.

I think the best solution would be to try a Maintenance Mode reset as this can cure allsorts of ailments.

Look here for instructions how to do it. Options 2 & 4 keep your recordings but you might have to re-pair any mobile devices linked to the box.

Thanks @TimCurtis   I’ve done an option 2 reset and will see what happens later.
