email on i pad does not work properly

since the changes made by BT to my e mail the i pad email is failing to send some messages. any help and guidance is appreciated.

I have had exactly the same issue just start today, but I use Googlemail. However, as my iPad updated its software last night I am rather putting it down to that, but I will be interested to see if any other ideas are posted here.
