parental pin on channel 380

I keep being asked for parental pin to keep watching this channel.

I do not have parental controls enabled.

Hi @gooner1958  - there is an Ofcom mandatory parental control PIN enforced outside of the watershed for any programs rated 12 and over. This will apply irrespective of whether you have parental controls enabled or disabled.

That's quite common, I asked the very same question on this forum some time ago.

Basically, if the program being shown is shown pre-watershed and is adjudged to contain content only approved for showing post-watershed, then you will have to enter the pin.

Don't ask me who makes that decision, I haven't got a clue
