Fibre connection dropping out

After years of flawless BB connection, I have been experiencing drop outs recently ( 4 or 5 within the last 4 days) with the HH6 showing an orange light. Only way to restore my connection is to reboot the router.

The router is connected to the master socket which is a filtered socket separating BB and phone line. Phone line itself is working and, although a little static, seems quiet enough.

Would this be a router issue as it's now quite old or a line issue? I can't get far enough back in the Event Log to check what it says.

Here's the Router Stats.

Re: Fibre connection dropping out

can you check your phone line - dial 17070 option 2 should be silent and any noise is a problem and could be cause of unstable connection so would need reported as phone fault to 151  best done with corded phone

Re: Fibre connection dropping out

I've tried the quiet line test and no noise.
