I had been getting slow broadband speeds. Yesterday an engineer came (who was very good) and may have fixed the problem as he found a wire at the street cabinet which needed replacing. However, whilst here he commented that the Smart Hub felt warm. He is right - not hot but definitely warm. Should I be worried about this and, if so, what can I do about it?
my SH2 is slightly warm to the touch and always has been. I think the position of the hub and air circulation about the hub plays a big part on how warm the hub feels to the touch
They will get warm as they’re constantly drawing power just like your TV when it’s on.
Just make sure it’s in a well ventilated place and not tucked away behind a curtain or right next to a radiator.
Not that you’d have a radiator on at this time of year anyway.
Thank you both very much for the replies.
Nothing to worry about, then.
