G’Day All
I’ve had a read through several threads but non seem to answer my specific questions so …Sorry to bore you with probably the same questions but advice would be welcome:
A fortnight ago I renewed my BT contract for Phone, Broadband and Mobile. I was persuaded to switch to EE for mobile as apparently there was no longer an option to stay with BT. This I did. …I should have dug for more information first, but with a holiday looming….I didn’t!
I now find that:
Charges will be increasing earlier than I was told.
I will be billed £2:47/day for roaming charges.
Itemised billing will be chargeable.
I must set up a new payment arrangement for EE separate to BT.
One of the recent emails from BTCOMMS stated :
“We're sorry to see you go. If you do change your mind, please call us on 0330 1234 150”
This sounded tempting, so I did call the number but there was no apparent option to stay…..
So first question is :
IS there an option to stay?
Secondly : Are we likely to be forced to migrate to EE for Home Phone & Broadband too?
Many thanks!
Thanks for coming to the community.
If we start with your broadband and home phone. While our sales teams will look at the options to move you over to EE, it is not a requirement at this stage. When it comes to your next renewal point, you would still be able to stay with BT as it stands today.
Has your mobile plan already activated on EE? If it has, when did your contract start?

Afternoon Michael
Thanks for replying.
I renewed my contract with BT and made the migration to EE for mobile on 11 Nov.
John
Thanks @Troy-Tempest
I was hoping it would have been a little more recently, as you can return/cancel the EE plan within 14 days but that wouldn't be an option now.
Were you told that things like itemised billing and roaming would be included?
