Re: BT Sport changes

If that's what you have now, then that's what will continue.

Re: BT Sport changes

Woud it not make sense to renumber the channels in the BT TV/Youview EPG guide so that the channels are grouped together ?

Re: BT Sport changes

BT signed a 7 year deal with ESPN in 2015 to supply up to 5000 hours of content per year. The name change from BT Sport ESPN to BT Sport 4 suggests to me that BT Sport  will no longer have access to as much content as before, although Jamie Hindhaugh did say that there will be a ‘continued relationship’. It will be interesting to see whether Disney+ starts to show some of the sport that was previously on BT Sport under the contract with ESPN.

Re: BT Sport changes

ESPN do have their own streaming service for the UK. Perhaps they intend to beef that up.

Re: BT Sport changes

@ozsat Good point about the ESPN streaming service. I’d completely forgotten about that.

Re: BT Sport changes

As all the Extra channels are being renamed, and they are so far down the EPG I sometimes forget to look to see if anything is on, why can’t we have a red button prompt with a list of what’s on what channel when there is extra sport on one of them.  Just a thought.
