Activating my bt account

My bt was showing three accounts when logging in. After contacting bt tech I was advised to try registering again with a different email. The activation link to the new email is not working

It states 'your bt id has not yet been activated' but does not allow me to resend activation email

Logged in using original email and all seems fine now.....strange
