I've send back router in June and got bill today about 50.00 charge for not returning equipment when I migrated from BT to EE for better package (upgrade).
Now they ask me to proof I've send it in June. Are they lost their minds at BT?
Still after moving to EE, can't see my account only direct debits coming out of account. No bills, EE don't know, BT don't.

I am not responsible for dealing with royal mail or sorting BT hub for returns. They should know what barcode was send me in June. They send me 2 envelopes to send it back as well.
I know for sure. No more BT or EE avoid at any cost. This company isn't what it was.

Keep photos , records of anything you send, talk, chat with BT or EE as they may ask you about it few months later.
That is why you are given proof of posting and why you should retain it.
