I wrote to BT at Durham on 16 June about a complaint regarding compensation. When I did not receive a reply, I sent a reminder on 21 July. On 27 July I get an email saying they were looking into my complaint. On 28 July I had a text saying they wanted to talk to me about my complaint. To date I have heard nothing. I want a written response which I can pass on to Ofcom. How long does it take BT to address a complaint?

I'm really sorry you have cause to complain. have you managed to speak with anyone about this yet? The complaint team would usually follow up if they can't make contact initially. Let me know if you still need help.
It turned out that BT did not receive my first letter. The matter has been resolved to my satisfaction.
