I have the same problem. I try to add account to myBT. After adding account, it shows 5 minutes are required to update. However, there is still no account in myBT after 5 minutes.

I am sorry for the problems you're having adding your account to your BTID. Have a word with our colleagues in the helpdesk 0800 800 150 who should be able to help you sort this out.
If you have any problems come back on here and we will be happy to pick up. It would take us a few days to get back to you so I have suggested contacting the helpdesk to get this resolved quicker.
