How can I revert control of my Xbox account back to Microsoft?

I have come to the end of my 6-month Xbox Game Pass sub with BT and would like to have billing revert to Microsoft, please. Could somebody please help with this?

Hi @dodobird, welcome to the forum and thanks for your post. 

Have you tried to add a new pass sine the free Game Pass expired as that can sometimes revert the account back to microsoft?

Thanks John, but I already have multiple years of passes stacked on my Xbox account so I cannot add any more
