Issues with Norton security

Since switching to BT Norton, my internet searches are either being blocked and if not, incredibly slow to load. Can anyone help?

Look at what extensions are turned on and disable what you don't need. Trial and error to eliminate problem....just a suggestion...not had this problem myself. I found Norton faster than McAfee, even on an old laptop.
