Problems upgrading to Norton - Changing MyBT ID

Having the same issues as other users in when I try to upgrade to Norton get the message "The resource you are looking for has been removedhad its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable"  The problem appears to be that "MyBT" user id is not my email, however if I try to update my details I get an error saying that my email address is already registered. Spent two hours on the phone to BT but not resolved. Has anyone else had this problem/found a solution ?

Hi @Dave_D18,

Thanks for getting in touch. I am sorry that you haven't been able to change your username to an email address and I'm sorry for how long you were on the phone about the problem.

This may mean that you have another BTID set up with the email address as the username already. I can look into that for you though and save you a lot of time on the phone. I've sent you a private message about it.
