After a thunder storm our You View Box wouldn't connect to the internet. We have purchased a new box and it will not connect, it keeps saying check the connection between the box and the router. We have done so, used factory reset. Tried to connect manually won't connect. We have bothe 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz I read somewhere that you need to split but I don't know how to. Any suggestions please.
Hi @elaine5 welcome to the community and thanks for posting. I'm sorry to see you're having problems with your BT TV box since the thunderstorm. I'm not sure it's the box if the replacement isn't working either, can you advise what model of box you have and how is it connected to the internet? Wireless, ethernet cable or powerline adapters?
Only the Pro boxes have wireless capability and there's no need to split channels.
