BT TV update? Fast Forward/Rewind

I've noticed this last week, the control of Fast Forward/Rewind has changed for the worst

I can no longer long press to jump a minute etc. but it increments the longer you press it. 

I see this a backward step - anyone know of a way to revert to the old way?

I've got this as well. Really annoying. It was fine before so why do they have to change it... as you say for the worse? Surprised not more comments on this.
