Netflix search results

HI!

I'm new to BT TV and just noticed that search does not include Netflix - is that just the way it is?

Also, On the prime results that come up - are you able to add them to your watch list?

Currently the BT TV Youview universal search does not return results for NETFLIX.

It used to provide them

Apparently an upgrade to the Search in  late 2021 stopped it.

As for the Amazon Prime  Video  search results  on BT TV I believe when you attempt to add to the BT TV Pro Watch list you get the message “Programmes from this player can’t be added to MY TV but are available to watch now”

I think they’ve closed that thread as you can no longer reply to it. 

is there a way to vote for this feature? 

we would love to have it back also.

Hi  @Norah854  the unresolved thread was not closed but  the forum archiving procedures have moved it so it cannot be added to. That process is based upon when the thread was started rather than when it was last updated.  Universal search is an area that Youview and BT TV do seem to be taking a long time to address.

Still can’t believe this issue has not yet been resolved! They heavily promote Netflix in their TV advertising yet it’s the only search omission of all of the streaming services !

Also if it’s a Netflix problem I’m sure it’s working ok on sky stream !

I’m sure it is probably more to do with the integration deal Sky did with Netflix before anyone else.

Not even Apple can return Netflix results in the UK, whereas I can search for and add to my playlist on Apple TV anything from:

• Disney+
• Discovery+
• itvX
• Prime Video
• NOW
• BBC iPlayer
• All4 (or whatever it is called now)
• My5

And others.
