we are experiencing this issue. - everytime we time and play something on Amazon prime on our TV, it either closes the app and reverts to the TV or it plays for a few seconds and then closes the app. Is there a solution?

It wasn’t no, separate Amazon subscription for it, just using the app on the BT box.
We actually ended up buying another TV in the end and this appears to have fixed the issue - not sure whether Amazon works still in that BT box now on the new tv, but the new tv can have the app installed on it directly this is no longer an issue for now. Thank you!
