We’ve been with BT since April. Quite soon afterwards whenever I fast forwarded a recorded programme there was no sound. Several engineer visits later - some to try and fix a slow internet speed - I was sent a new box and for a few weeks all was fine. Yesterday the problem returned so I had an online chat with an agent who rebooted the box and all seemed fine - he ended our chat by assuring me the problem was permanently fixed. Lo and behold and not at all to my surprise the problem has again returned. I really am at the end of my tether with BT. The customer support is fine but not matched by the equipment and/or provision. Where do I go next? I really wish we’d never left Sky. Can I ditch the just TV part of my contract without penalty given I’m not getting what I’m paying for? Any advice would be most welcome.
