Unable to access my btinternet account from either windows mail or Thunderbird mail client.
This problem only started earlier this evening. I have no problem logging into my btinternet mail off the web, but when I go into windows mail or Thunderbird I get a message suggesting my password may need updating.
I have been through the process of changing passwords, again it works fine accessing btinternet mail directly from the web but again neither windows mail nor Thunderbird can connect.
I have had no problems since opening a btinternet mail account over two years ago, this problem only started this evening, and only with bt mail. No problems with gmail, hotmail or Virgin mail.
Now at a loss, any suggestions most welcome.
Just checked again, both windows mail and Thunderbird are now connecting to my btinternet account.
