Good afternoon.
I'm having problems receiving emails from a certain address and have been told to add an SPF record as follows:
add our SPF record for the email from your NS provider console (btinternet):
Add as TXT
Value: v=spf1 +a +mx include:all._spf.ds.network ~all
I have no idea how to do this, so I would be grateful for any advice and assistance from members of the community.
You can't and it wouldn't help in any case, an SPF record is associated with sending email not receiving.
Add the sender to your safe senders list.
If you are using a standard BT email account, this should already exist—if it didn't, these boards would be flooded with complaints about rejected emails!
However, if you have a mail server for a domain you own, you'd need to add that SPF record via your name host.
If neither of these is the case, the company making the request probably has a problem!
