Can someone post a link to directly login in to Talk21 WebMail?

Go to solution

I have had a bookmark forever which I used to get to the login page for Talk21 email. However now, when I use that page and login, I land on the generic BT web page, where I have to select 'email', and then login once more to access emails.

Can someone please post a direct link so I don't have to login twice everytime I want an email?

If you click on the Email button at the top of this page it will take you to the BTMail log on page. Once there save it as a favourite and the if need be make it a shortcut.

No idea why you are not seeing the row of icons. You could try clearing your browser's cookies and history.

I do not normally use webmail instead preferring to use an email client, but I have just tried logging onto BTMail via webmail and I see the same issue that you have encountered.

It appears to me that BT are using that route to "advertise" the move from BT to EE.

At present I do not see a way around this other than using an email client which avoids all the changes that BT make or may make to their email web pages and log on system but if I find a way I'll let you know.

Log onto your BTMail email account and once there make that page a favourite. When you click on that it will bring up the log on page which you fill in as per normal but when you click it it goes directly to your email account instead of via the BT page.

I must be stupid and doing something fundamentally wrong. I still end up having to 'double' login LOL

Further to my previous messages.

Log onto your BTMail email account. Once logged on go to the address bar and it should show the page address and version of the email you are on. Not being patronising this is just so that any one not sure reading this knows they are looking in the right place.

Now click on the Inbox icon at the left hand side and then click on the address bar favourites icon which should open a new drop down box showing the page that you are going to make a favourite.  It should now show "Inbox and your email address"

Add this as favourite then log out of your account.

Now when you want to log on use the new "Inbox"  favourite you have just created. It will bring up the log on page and you then log on as normal and it should take you directly to your Inbox list of emails.

Although you are using the logon page for the email account you copied the favourite from you can use the logon page for any BTMail email account and it will take you to that account not the one you used for the favourite.

I have tried this on Edge, Duck Duck G0 and Firefox which all work. At this time Chrome and Opera are logging in as they always have without the extra step so I have not needed to set up a "new" favourite.

Hey, that works!! Thank you so much for the time & trouble that was bound to take. I love getting one over on BT 😂

Now, can you stop them censoring my emails?? LOL
