Additional telephone socket

I have a traditional rotary dial phone in the lounge which we rarely use but when someone calls I have to dash downstairs. I got fed uo with poor quality digital equipment for landlines hence the change back to the rotary phone. It works very well so much so we have one in my Mothers house it it is great.

Does anyone know how much BT would charge to install a new socket upstairs?

I do not want another digital phone as they are more trouble than they are worth!

Re: Additional telephone socket

if it is just an extension socket you require you can either DIY or check local paper for telecom engineer who will be happy to help - and cheaper the openreach

bear in mind with digital voice the sockets are no longer used
