BT’s wifi 6 discs or a new router?

Fairly unimpressed with the Wi-Fi speeds using my Smart Hub 2 and the discs. (Wired speed is perfect)

Is it worth upgrading to the Wi-Fi 6 discs, or is it better to just buy a new Wi-Fi 6 capable router altogether? If a new router, anyone have any recommendations? (We have a lot of Wi-Fi 6 capable devices)

Re: BT’s wifi 6 discs or a new router?

This isn't meant to sound condescending but I'd suggest that you consider what WiFi speeds you need, as opposed to what you want. By that I mean what speeds are you currently getting, what is that preventing you doing & what speeds do you need to correct that? It's all too easy to fall into a trap of faster (more expensive) must be better. But realistically, unless you are routinely moving huge files around your network or downloading similar huge files to these devices from the Internet,  you may not actually need WiFi 6.
