EE smart hub plus signal

Hi , we’ve signed up for the new EE  smart hub  plus next week with EE  TV  box and mini box too , we are switching from Bt hub with full fibre speed of 145 and we’re using sky stream boxes which all worked fine on the Bt hub .

can we expect the signal on the new EE smart hub plus to be as strong as the Bt  fib full fibre  signal was ?

Tv boxes are about 8m from router .

The boxes and switchover in jan 24th , although I was led to believe there would be no cancellation charge as switching from BT to EE I’ve received a text saying we will be charged £33 for the early cancellation as contract ends in 5 weeks ?
