Our BT Youview box has been replaced after it developed a fault. The new box works ok except when attempting to set up the remote to control our Sony Bravia TV (KDL 40R553C) the old remote worked ok but the new one just will not work using the code supplied - 4985.
I have tried all versions of the setup steps pressing the TV button and as an alternative pressing OK. The TV turns off but I am unable to turn it back on again let alone control the volume.
Any help would be appreciated
