BBC i player

I have just had my broadband package activated today, Broadband and phone. I was previously with Plusnet and on the same package, I used to be able to connect to BBC iPlayer and other internet channels on my TV. But now on this package with BT it won't let me connect to iPlayer or the other internet channels on my TV.  I can access iPlayer through my iPad but not on the TV. Can anyone enlighten me as to why this is please.

Did you get a BT router ? , if you did and its connected , do you connect your TV wirelessly to the ‘internet’ , if so have you entered your new BT router credentials into the TV settings so it can connect to the different router , or alternatively did you change your BT router SSID , password etc to match the credentials of your ‘old’ Plusnet router , if you are still using the PN router obviously this isn’t the issue .

I have connected the TV wirelessly to the BT router with no problem, I can get onto YouTube and play videos but it just won't let me load iPlayer or tvx channels to watch.

Do a search , the internet seems to think a problem with IPv6 may cause this , although it’s seems unlikely if your IPad is OK but not your TV .
