Upload very slow

Hi there and thank you for reading my post.

My internet isnt great at the best of times but recently its got worse! I'm still getting around 10mbps (which is about the best ive had in 30yrs of living here!) however the upload barely gets over 0.5! The speed test below is actually a half decent one to normal, any suggestions on improving upload speeds? The router is plugged in via ethernet.

There is not a lot you can do about the upload speeds other than move to Full Fibre if it's available to you which I am guessing it's not other wise I suspect you would have already done that.

You should check that all your devices network card drivers are up to date. Don't rely on Windows to update them. Go to your network card's manufacturer's web site for the most up to date drivers.  Other than that as I have said there is not a lot you can do.

When you say: "The router is plugged in via ethernet" do you mean that the computer you're using to measure broadband speed is connected to the router with an ethernet cable?
If instead, the computer is connected to the router via WiFi, that could be the source of your low broadband speed.

From your stats it looks like you are on ADSL2 and are quite along way from your exchange - 3km?
