About "Hype Mode"

Is it possible to watch live video in "Hype Mode"?
Or will it only be used for highlights?

I'd like to know the range of application of "Hype Mode".

Hype mode is available on select events - currently just Premier League matches.

When you start watching any live channel, you'll see the menu icon in the top right corner (3 horizontal bars).  From there, you'll see Hype Mode - it'll be greyed out when not currently active.

The Hype Mode stream currently runs around 2 minutes behind the live channel - this is to handle the additional processing and encoding.  We're working to bring this down to just a few seconds.

Even though there is a 2 minute delay, "Hype Mode" will be applied throughout the entire video - not just the highlights scene.

Correct - it's on the live stream, for the entire match.

Just out of curiosity, are the graphics displayed in "Hype Mode" all automated by technology?
Or is it determined by some kind of operator?

Automated. There's a lot of equipment installed in the stadium recording information from multiple different angles. AI is then used to add the relevant graphics based on this information.
