BT FTTP - Netgear D6400 - No Internet TV Channels (IPC6023)

Hi,

Hoping people can help me get internet TV channels working with this router (i.e comedy central).
The internet connection works fine, all devices connected (including youview box) - however trying to watch any of the internet channels all results in IPC6023 error.

This router supported internet channels with no changes required before the upgrade to FTTP

Edit: To confirm the internet channels work with smart hub 2 (router supplied with FTTP upgrade)

Thanks,

Re: BT FTTP - Netgear D6400 - No Internet TV Channels (IPC6023)

BT TV uses Multicast, IPC6023 can be caused by a number of things including the loss of multicast packets.

As a first step, I would put the BT hub back on (assuming you still have it) and see if you get the internet channels then.

Second step, assuming all is ok with the BT hub online, would be to review the IGMP snooping settings on the netgear (should be on) and the IGMP Proxy setting

Hi,

Thank you for your response.

I currently have the smart hub 2 plugged in, and can confirm the channels work. I will try looking at the IGMP setting on the netgear router tonight.

Thanks,

@sim_wood

Morning, if you search for D6400 and BT TV configuration online there is a Netgear forum post about BTTV and the D6400, it may help.

Kind Regards
